All registrations run through danceapp.net — our booking system. If you don’t have an account yet, sign up well in advance.

Receive your confirmation email
You’ll get an email confirming we received your registration. Every incoming solo registration (except for Joker registrations) first appears with the status “Waitlist” in your danceapp account until we pair you up with someone from the opposite role – that is normal. 
Couple registrations are automatically admitted. We also send you the booking code for the hotel in the confirmation email.

Register as a leader and you’ll dance the leader role in workshops and majority of the socials.

Signing up with a partner maximizes your chance to get your registration approved, avoiding landing on the waiting list (unless the event is sold out).

JOKER

Equally comfortable in either role? Sign up as Joker — we’ll ask you to dance whichever role is needed in the workshop you’re attending.

Your workshop level in your main role will be determined by your WSDC points status or audition. If the role balance requires, we can ask you to dance your secondary role in the same workshop. 

You have to sign up solo with the “Full Pass (Joker)” pass type, it is not possible to sign up with a partner. You will be automatically admitted to the event, without waiting list.

Once your spot is confirmed, payment must be settled within 14 days of acceptance
COUPLES
couple registrations
→
Couple registrations enjoy priority — we strongly encourage signing up with a partner
→
Both partners must register for the same pass type (Full or Party). Full Pass partners do not have to be from the same workshop level.
→
Only one dancer from the couple registers, selecting the partner’s name during the process
→
Both dancers must already have danceapp accounts!
→
Both will receive email notifications, and payment can be settled separately
SOLO
solo registrations
→
Solo registrations are placed on the waiting list (unless you register in Joker role) until we match them with someone from the opposite role to keep balance
→
We’ll do our best to let you in — and you can help by having a friend who registers later add your name. You’re then admitted automatically (unless we’ve already sold out)
FREE PASSES
free pass holders
→
Free pass holders still need to register, with indicating where they won the pass in the comment field during the registration
→
Free pass holders have to register with the solo registration option, cannot be part of couple registration
→
Your place at the event is guaranteed, regardless of when you register
→
Free passes are Party Passes and can be upgraded to Full Pass for 50€. Add a comment in the form during registration, or message us afterwards

Organising a trip from your country? We offer discounts on Full Pass sign-ups for role-balanced groups of 10 or more dancers. Bring your community to Cologne and we’ll make it worth your while!
Notes:
1. It is possible that your country already has a group leader. Contact us before you start organizing a group.
2. Joker role dancers can be part of a group, but only as solo registrations. They cannot role balance others.
3. Only country groups outside of Germany are eligible.

If you have the right qualifications and experience, we may reach out to invite you onto our judging panel. If that’s something you’d be open to, please tell us a little about your judging experience in the registration form — a few words is enough.

Your pass will be partially or fully reimbursed based on the number of assignments at the event.

As much as we’d like to, we cannot give every applicant assignments — assembling the judging panel is under sole discretion of our chief judge.

REFUND policy & Ticket transfers

Refund Policy
If you need to cancel your participation, the following refund conditions apply:

Cancellation on or before 14 October 2026 (incl.): 75% of the ticket price will be refunded.
Cancellation on or before 14 December 2026 (incl.): 50% of the ticket price will be refunded.
Cancellation after 14 December 2026: No refund will be granted.

All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to info@colognecallingwcs.com.

Important notes: Refunds are not possible in case of changes to the teaching team, including cancellations due to illness or travel disruptions (e.g., flight cancellations). The event program may be modified without entitlement to a refund.

Ticket Transfers
If you have purchased a ticket but cannot attend the event, you may transfer your ticket to another person under the following conditions:

Transfer requests must be sent via email to info@colognecallingwcs.com and are subject to explicit approval by Cologne Calling GbR. All transfer requests must include the full name and contact details of both the transferring party and the recipient.

Transfers are only permitted as follows: Follower passes may be transferred to another follower or to a leader. Leader passes may only be transferred to another leader. Joker passes may only be transferred to a leader or another Joker. Transfers are only possible depending on the current balance of registrations. Free passes cannot be transferred.
